Perfect Portraits without any red-eye

The FinePix Z30 boasts Fujifilm's acclaimed ultra-fast Face Detection technology. This clever technology can quickly detect up to ten faces in a frame and adjusts focus, exposure and white balance to reveal perfect people pictures. The technology works regardless of the subject's position in the frame, and is not confused by anyone wearing glasses. To avoid dissapointing photos with red-eye, Face Detection goes one step further by detecting any red-eye in the shot and automatically removing it as the picture is taken.

Make your own Movie

Featuring Successive Movie mode, the FinePix Z30 allows you to shoot your own movies up to 60 seconds long. You can shoot them in one go or add to previously recorded movie file and resume shooting to create your minute long movie of successive events.

Automatic Scene Recognition

Scene Recognition AUTO cleverly detects the scene being photographed and the camera automatically sets the appropriate shutter speed, exposure and white balance to ensure that you get the most from your photography. Recognises portrait shots by detecting that there are faces in the frame and optimising focus, brightness and white balance accordingly.

Landscape

Automatically recognises scenic shots such as mountains and buildings. Ensures that vivid colours are captured & adds depth to your pictures.

Night

For low-light and night time scenarios, shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.

Backlit Portrait

Optimises the brightness of the faces in the picture (that would usually end up in shadow) and compensates for the underexposure caused by the light behind.

When photographing people at night or in low light, SR Auto optimises flash range, shutter speed, and the exposure of the portrait, whilst capturing a smooth and noiseless background.

Anti-blur

Nothing is more disappointing than taking a photo only to look at it and discover it’s blurred and that the moment has passed. Pictures taken in low-light conditions, and fast moving subjects, are especially susceptible to image blur.

To combat this, the FinePix Z30 features Picture Stabilisation, Fujifilm’s highly effective anti-blur technology, which works by increasing the cameras sensitivity to light (to ISO 1600) and shutter speed to deliver virtually blur-free images.
